E-CADEMY Students Soar to New Heights with Boeing and United Airlines Experience
Project SYNCERE’s E-CADEMY program reached new altitudes—literally and figuratively—thanks to the generous support of Boeing and United Airlines. On March 27, 2025, our students were given an unforgettable opportunity to visit a Boeing manufacturing site in St. Louis, an experience that opened their eyes to the world of aviation engineering and manufacturing.
The day began with a special touch: limo service for the students, setting the stage for an extraordinary adventure. At the Boeing facility, students embarked on an interactive scavenger hunt, delving into the company’s storied history and its significant contributions to aviation. The highlight of the visit was a tour of the manufacturing plants where Boeing’s F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets are brought to life. Students witnessed firsthand the complex processes and cutting-edge technologies involved in building these powerful aircraft.
The opportunity to meet and interact with Boeing engineers and professionals proved to be particularly impactful. Students engaged in conversations about the realities of engineering careers, gaining valuable insights into the skills, education, and dedication required to succeed in this field. These interactions demonstrated how classroom learning translates into real-world innovation.
For many E-CADEMY students, the trip included another significant first: their inaugural flight. United Airlines’ in-kind donation of air travel made this journey possible, turning a simple trip into a milestone event. Project SYNCERE extends its sincere gratitude to United Airlines for helping to broaden our students’ horizons.
This extraordinary experience was made possible through Boeing’s ongoing and extensive support of Project SYNCERE. Boeing is one of Project SYNCERE’s biggest supporters, with their support also making possible $50,000 in stipends and scholarships for Project SYNCERE students and also supporting our ENpowered Games and STEM projects on Chicago’s West Side.
