Chicago, IL – September 2024—Project SYNCERE, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented students in STEM, today announced it has received a grant of $85,000 USD from the Motorola Solutions Foundation, Motorola Solutions’ charitable arm.
Through this grant, Project SYNCERE will continue to provide high-quality STEM education to students in the Chicagoland area through its flagship program, E-CADEMY. E-CADEMY is an out-of-school program that engages students in grades 6-12 in hands-on engineering projects, field trips, and college and career readiness activities.

This grant will specifically support:
- Expanding E-CADEMY’s reach: The funds will enable Project SYNCERE to serve more students and potentially launch E-CADEMY programs in new schools.
- Enhancing curriculum and technology: The grant will support the development of new curriculum modules and the purchase of updated technology and equipment for E-CADEMY classrooms.
- Providing support services: The funds will help ensure that all students, regardless of their financial background, have access to E-CADEMY and the resources they need to succeed.
The Motorola Solutions Foundation, which has donated more than $100 million over the past 10 years, focuses its giving on three key areas: first responder programming, technology and engineering education, and programs that blend the two.
