I am a change agent, administrator, educator, and problem solver from the Chicagoland area.

I began my academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, later continuing on to earn a Master’s in City Planning with a concentration in Community Development from the University of California, Berkeley. I am currently pursuing a PhD focused on STEM Education Leadership, building on a long-standing commitment to expanding access and opportunity in STEM fields.

 

In my role as Interim Executive Director of Project SYNCERE, I focus on strengthening the organization’s capacity and supporting sustainable growth as we work to open pathways for underserved students to pursue STEM careers.

 

Beyond my work with Project SYNCERE, I contribute to the broader STEM and community ecosystem through service on the Region IV Advisory Board for the National Society of Black Engineers, the Pre-College Engineering Education Division Board of the American Society for Engineering Education, and the Board of Trustees of a faith-based nonprofit serving the Roseland community.
