Project SYNCERE’s Executive Director, Jason Coleman, Selected as a 2024-25 Obama Foundation Scholar
We are thrilled to announce that Jason Coleman, Executive Director and co-founder of Project SYNCERE, has been selected as one of the 18 emerging leaders to join the prestigious University of Chicago Obama Foundation Scholars Program for the 2024-25 cohort.
The Obama Foundation Scholars Program brings together rising leaders from across the globe who are committed to creating lasting social impact. As part of the program, scholars will engage in a year of learning, networking, and collaboration designed to enhance their ability to tackle some of society’s most pressing challenges. Jason’s selection is a testament to his outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to empowering underrepresented youth through STEM education.
Jason has led Project SYNCERE since its founding in 2008, working tirelessly to inspire and equip young students from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Under his leadership, the organization has impacted thousands of students, helping to build a more inclusive pipeline of talent poised to become future innovators and problem-solvers.
As an Obama Foundation Scholar, Jason will have the unique opportunity to deepen his leadership skills and expand his knowledge through the University of Chicago’s rich academic resources. The program focuses on fostering community engagement and global impact, aligning perfectly with Jason’s mission at Project SYNCERE to bring STEM education to underserved communities.
