Project SYNCERE’s 2024 Annual Impact Report: Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Leaders
We are excited to share Project SYNCERE’s 2024 Annual Impact Report, highlighting our progress in creating opportunities for underrepresented students in STEM. This year’s report showcases our commitment to fostering a diverse pipeline of engineering talent ready to shape the future.
Key Highlights from the Report:
- Mission and Vision: Project SYNCERE’s mission is to prepare the minds of underrepresented students and create pathways for them to pursue careers in STEM. Our vision is to see a diverse pipeline of engineering talent addressing today’s challenges and creating tomorrow’s solutions.
- Impactful Programs: Our initiatives, including the ENpowered Games, STEM in Motion mobile labs, and the E-CADEMY program, continue to make a significant difference in the lives of young students.
- Student Engagement: We’re proud to have engaged more than 1,500 students in Chicagoland through our programs this year, and over 35,000 in our 15-year history.
- E-CADEMY Success: A remarkable 100% of our E-CADEMY high school seniors are pursuing STEM majors in college, demonstrating the effectiveness of our comprehensive approach.
- STEM School-to-Career Pathway: Project SYNCERE focuses on building a complete STEM school-to-career pathway, providing continuous support and opportunities for students as they advance toward STEM careers.
The Importance of STEM Education:
The report also addresses the critical need for greater representation in STEM fields. As the report indicates, Black and Hispanic students as well as girls are underrepresented in STEM education and careers. Project SYNCERE is working to address this gap by providing access to quality education and creating an inclusive environment.
