From Project SYNCERE & Boeing

Through a generation donation from the Boeing Corporation Project SYNCERE will continue to support our E-CADEMY student participants in their journey to becoming engineers. This year we will offer scholarships to students to participate in University engineering camps.

Grade Focus: Rising 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th

Deadline: Monday, April 10, 2023

Applicants must:

• Complete the camp applications online and request financial aid if available
• Complete our Expanding Pathways Scholarship Application
• Participated in a Project SYNCERE Summer or Saturday program for at least two years
• Accepted into a STEM camp. Priority given to camps at Purdue University, University of Illinois, University of Michigan, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Illinois Tech, Northwestern, or the University of Notre Dame. Others school camps will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Application Requires

• Transcript: A current, complete school transcript of grades. Transcripts must display the student name, school name, grades, and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
• Essay: A statement of educational and career goals and objectives and how the particular camp will support the student’s goal 250-500 words

Funds will be awarded on a rolling basis until exhausted. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging between $500 – $3,000 based on the selected camp fees and possible camp travel needs.
