SEW (Summer Engineering Workshops) – Open to Rising 7th, 8th, 9th graders
- Students are invited for a week of discovery, engagement, and learning about college and careers in engineering
- Program will provide academic success strategies, college prep, life and social skills alongside engineering design challenges
- Students will engage in hands-on design challenges with peers to solve real world challenges
- Strong focus on math skills
PREFACE (Pre-Freshman and Cooperative Education) – Open to Rising 10th, 11th graders
- This week-long residential camp provides the opportunity to experience college engineering, including earning 1 college credit
- Students will engage in hands-on design challenges with peers to solve real world challenges
- Experience Purdue engineering with courses led by faculty and graduate assistance, tour research labs, and explore engineering careers
- Strong focus on math & engineering
MITE (Multiethnic Introduction to Engineering) – Open to Rising 12th graders
- This residential four-week, two college credit camp is modeled after the Freshmen Engineering Academic Boot Camp to prepare students for college programs in engineering
- Students will participate in activities and projects with peers, meet current undergraduate and graduate students, and learn from Purdue faculty and administrators
- Provides an overview of all 15 engineering majors and insight into a variety of engineering careers
- Strong focus on math & engineering
