On August 6th, students used their engineering design skills to present Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s technology priorities at a reception held at the Museum of Science and Industry during the GBTA conference. Students demonstrated IoT and how voice integrated electronics can personalize the guest hotel experience. They also worked with motorized Lego vehicles to represent the Artificial Intelligence connection to the rental car industry. Students were able to present a predictive traveler app that would assist travelers with trip disruptions, saving passenger preferences for airline, seat choice, time of travel, as well as a packing list for their specific destination.
With the new partnership Project SYNCERE also received a $25,000 sponsorship. We look forward to growing our partnership!
